Have you ever been stuck in the beauty aisle at the store looking for a facial cleanser? Have you ever bought a cleanser and your face reacted badly to the product? Or have you been searching for years to narrow down the products that work best for you?
Well, I have been there many of times for years. Being an oily girlie (lol) I’ve spent most of my adolescent and adult years dealing with acne that I thought would vanish when I became an adult. While attending school to become a skin care specialist my teacher really explained and taught me how to deal and live with my skin and properly take care of it. In the process of me learning about my skin I found it very interesting learning about other skin types.
Here are some tips that will help you deal with your skin a little better.
· For Dry to Normal Skin try using a cream or lotion cleansers
· For Oily Skin use gel or foaming cleansers
· Combination Skin work well with gentle water soluble cleansers
· Even with Oily skin you still need a moisturizer, use a light weight product like serums
· If your cleanser is making your face feel tight it is over drying it. You need to switch to something more milder
· Exfoliate once a week or twice for oily skin. Getting rid of the dead skin will help speed up the process of healing your skin
· DON’T be afraid to try different products. Just because the product says for oily skin and you have oily skin try it out but if it does not make your skin feel nice like you want it try something else.
· Drink plenty of water
· Eat healthy. Fruit & Veggies are our best friends.
These are just a few things to help you along with your skin care routine. I will be going in depth on each skin type later on.
I hoped this really helped you
